We publish a full privacy policy and terms of service because we are required to, and because you deserve to know the rules. But we also know that most people do not read legal documents, and that is at least partly because legal documents are designed to be precise, not readable. This post is our attempt to summarise both in plain language.
Nothing in this post replaces the actual legal documents. If there is ever a conflict between this post and the official policies, the official documents govern.
What Data We Collect
We collect three categories of data:
- Account information: your name, email address, and company name when you register
- Financial data we extract from your connected inbox: vendor, amount, currency, date, and category for each transaction
- Usage data: which features you use, how often, and basic performance telemetry so we can improve the product
What We Do With It
Every piece of data we collect has one purpose: making Stakari work better for you. Account information is used to identify you and communicate with you about your account. Financial data powers your spend dashboard, anomaly alerts, and budget tracking. Usage data helps us understand which parts of the product are working and which need improvement.
What We Never Do
- We never sell your data to third parties, full stop
- We never use your data to serve you advertising
- We never share your financial data with other Stakari customers
- We never use your Gmail data to train general AI models or share it with AI providers beyond what is necessary to run your specific query
- We never retain raw email content after the extraction step completes
Google API Services
Our use of Gmail data follows Google's Limited Use requirements. This means we only use data accessed via Google APIs to provide and improve features that are visible to the user inside Stakari. We do not use it for any other purpose, and we do not transfer it to anyone else except as necessary to operate the service, subject to confidentiality obligations.
Your Rights
You can request a full export of your data at any time by contacting support@nexbi.tech. You can delete your account and all associated data from the account settings page. Deletion is permanent and processed within 30 days. You can also revoke Gmail access independently through your Google account without deleting your Stakari account.
The Terms, Briefly
The terms of service cover two things mainly: what you are allowed to use Stakari for, and what happens if something goes wrong. You are allowed to use Stakari for lawful business purposes. You are not allowed to reverse-engineer the product, scrape it, or use it to do anything illegal. If something goes wrong, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.
